Get-AitherScript lists every numbered script with its synopsis and parameters, parsed from the file itself — no separate index to drift.

Playbooks are .psd1 data files describing ordered steps, so a sequence is reviewable as data rather than buried in control flow.

config.psd1 merges with OS-specific and local overrides, so machine-specific values never have to be committed.

Node onboarding

The node-onboard playbook enrols a machine as a secure AitherOS cluster node, cross-platform, from one command.

Quick start

Verified against a clean clone. build.ps1 generates the module manifest — it is not committed, so this step is required.

Scope. This is the public distribution: dev tools, testing, monitoring, git and maintenance categories. Infrastructure provisioning, deployment playbooks and the full AitherOS bootstrap are part of the Enterprise distribution and are deliberately not published here.

The ecosystem this belongs to

Every Aitherium repository publishes an aither-manifest.json beside its page, and each surface reads all of them — so the network is browsable from any node in it. A repository that publishes nothing shows as unknown, never as zero.
